Agrecalc is a software platform that quantifies, benchmarks, and helps its users across the food supply chain reduce their carbon footprint. Those in the food supply chain are facing constant challenges, from compliance and financial security, to staying competitive in the ever-changing market conditions. Agrecalc is a tool to help navigate and inform these challenges. We are currently seeking to recruit two Senior Software Engineers on a contract basis, each for up to 24 months to drive the development of our software. We are seeking a Frontend Senior Software Engineer and a Backend Senior Software Engineer. Reporting to the Head of Tech and Delivery, the main purpose of the Senior Software Engineer roles are to develop, maintain, deliver and deploy quality software. You will be designated a primary area of responsibility depending on which role you have applied to.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical outcome of complex space missions. During mission contracting and requirements development, you may work with the sales engineering org to ensure mission requirements are valid and mission scope is adequately defined. Systems Engineers translate higher level requirements down to lower-level requirements, consulting and collaborating with discipline team-leads and subject matter experts where necessary. You will be the overall technical lead responsible for "building the right thing" and "building it right". This will include the management of system requirements, technical budgets, and sub-system interfaces. Your responsibility extends to ensuring there is sufficient verification and testing of the system, and you will take ownership of the technical performance outcomes for the mission.
