My Tier 1 banking client are currently looking to hire a highly experienced and technically strong Oracle Developer as they continue to grow and enhance their Corporate Technology's Finance IT function.

The team are currently in the process of introducing a new regulatory reporting function presenting an exciting opportunity to work with new and unique technology in a small and dynamic team. The successful Oracle developer will be responsible for building and developing technical solutions, oracle coding and a level of database support within the environment.

The successful Oracle developer should have extensive Oracle development experience within a banking environment and ideally will have had a level of exposure or basic understanding of regulatory reporting. This will be an opportunity to work in broad role and at the same time learn new and interesting technologies

Key Requirements

  • Expert Oracle database knowledge (11g/12c)
  • Extensive hands on experience with database languages (PL/SQL/SQL*Plus)
  • 5+ years' Oracle development experience within banking/ financial services
  • Good knowledge of both developing and supporting oracle databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Desirable Skills
  • Understanding/ Exposure to regulatory reporting
  • Familiarisation of BASEL III regulation
