IT Operations Manager

(Network/ Collaboration/ Unified Communications & Security)

Our Global IT Operations are integral to the running of the Firm and are critical to its ongoing success. We have an opening for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for leading teams across networks, collaboration, unified communications & security operations. The purpose of the role will be to provide leadership to the Service Owners and their teams. Your remit will be to ensure service lines are fit for purpose and drive the teams to adapt to changing requirements.

You need to have a broad technical understanding across networks, collaboration and unified communications, but the key to success in this role will be your ability to provide structured leadership. You will be ultimately responsible for managing the budget of your service lines and manage suppliers in alignment with the Firm's vendor management framework.

Key to measuring success in this role will be to work closely with Service Management to specify and agree service metrics. You will be responsible for ensuring that the IT roadmaps for your service lines are understood and delivered to budget and timeline. You will be accountable for ensuring that your teams deliver a seamless service in line with the Firm's core values. You will also provide direction and guidance for the development and implementation of global standards and policies for Infrastructure Services.

You will naturally have experience in a similar role within a complex global organization and be able to demonstrate success in running a business critical operation. We are seeking a strong communicator with demonstrable experience of related services. Significant operations and project management skills are required along with experience of off-shoring and outsourcing management. You will be an excellent manager of people with strong experience of leading teams both directly and across a matrix. We are seeking strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with an ability to drive performance and create win/win relationships at all levels. You will need to demonstrate competent management and control of a significant budget.
