We are looking for a hard working, flexible backend developer to join our start-up to build the backend of our system, working alongside our Frontend Developer. Our platform is a global marketplace for industrial machinery, which will revolutionise the industry - we are spearheading this move, and the platform will be the first of its kind. It is an extremely exciting time to come on board, and we have just received another significant round of funding.

Currently we have architected a backend in our techstack, which allows the creation and storage of listings. Performance was a key metric, hence our stack. We are seeking a developer who can build upon and improve what we already have. We are flexible, and would consider altering the stack provided it was for good reasoning.

You will be working alongside a small, dynamic and capable team on one of the most exciting projects out there right now. The role is 90% remote, with occasional visits to our offices required.

Payment Systems:

·We will need to construct a payment system, in order to charge monthly subscriptions to our users

·Charging per hour per listing, then billed at the end of each month

·Each subscriber will spend a unique amount per month

·Profit Sharing - If a user refers a new paying subscriber, they will need to be automatically paid between 25% - 40% of the new subscribers expenditure each month.

Mobile Application Development:

·The second stage of the project will be building the Mobile App for both IOS and Android devices. The frontend will be built in React Native, and will work very similarly to the webapp, therefore the database layer of the backend will need to work on both platforms. Experience working within a mobile app environment would be very beneficial.
