URGENT! My market leading client is looking for an IT Support Technician to work out of their busy and high tech offices based in Lancaster. The role offers the opportunity to work in a fast changing environment, with a wide range of technology. You will be part of a team of 4 technicians who provide a wide range of computer services.

They are looking for someone with a mix of technical skills including, Windows 2003, Active Directory, Microsoft Applications, SQL Server, Exchange Server 2003, Microsoft Networks and Windows XP Professional. If you have any experience of any of the following skills it would be beneficial to your application although they aren't necessary as full training will be given where your skills fall short: VMware, Linux / Unix (Solaris), Novell NetWare, ZENworks or relational databases (Oracle, SQL-Server, MySQL).

You will be responsible for general computer support to staff onsite, as well as general systems administration (account provisioning, log monitoring). You will also rectify software or hardware problems on desktop / laptop PC's as well also LAN access control.

The salary is negotiable depending on your level of technical skill, but can be anything up to £28,000, making this an opportunity not to be missed.
