My client is a global Funds/ Investments organisation based in Dublin City Centre. They currently have a permanent vacancy for an IT Applications Analyst for their IT Infrastructure team.
The role will involve the design, development, maintenance and support of the master database across the company's trading and investment systems.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and business support for exisiting applications
- Provide administrative suport for trading applications
- Be a point of contact for all investment staff
- Gain good understanding of Trade Flow and of application functionality
- Support new projects in applications
- Build and understanding of technical infrastructure of applications
Experience required:
- 2+ years experience in a business facing role within the Funds/ Investment managment industry
- Knowledge of financial applications
- Knowledge of workflow between front, middle and back office applications
- Working knowledge of J2EE/ .Net/ C#/ Charles River an advantage
- Knowledge of Trading applications an advantage
