Infrastructure Server Specialist/ Unix Admin HP-UX

Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Server Support Specialist you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of server hardware and server applications. 3+ years of experience in a related role required.
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Maintenance of Server Hardware and Applications. This will include the upgrading and patching of both Hardware and Software
* Troubleshooting and problem resolution in a networking/unix environment.
* Advise management and colleagues on tools, best practice techniques and methodologies
* Provide and maintain technical documentation
* Reviews, updates, implements and tests the Disaster Recovery plan for the Server environment
Requirements:
* Working knowledge of networking (including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP
* 2+ Years experience working as a unix administrator (AIX/HP-UX)
* Knowledge and experience of Virtual IBM p5 systems desirable
* Knowledge and experience of installing, upgrading, maintaining and troubleshooting the
latest Oracle releases including 10g, 10gAS
* Oracle Database 8i, 9i and 10g
* SQL Server knowledge and experience (Versions 2000 and 2005 desirable)
* Knowledge of backup software (HP Dataprotector and Veritas Netbackup)
* Knowledge of EMC SAN administration desirable
* Knowledge of Filenet Imaging system and optical storage desirable
* Available to work on-call and overtime
