COMPANY: Financial Services Client based in North Dublin
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Developing, enhancing and maintaining systems and system interfaces.
- Participation in planning sessions with clients, Business Analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements, assess feasibility of solution, and development of detailed functional requirements.
- Creation of technical specifications, design recommendations, programs as per written technical specifications.
- Translation of business and technical requirements into application modules.
- Define, coordinate and manage the procedures and processes for hosting, building and deployment of third party applications.
- Application of project management and quality assurance principles and processes.
- Assurance that application meets requirements; participation in appropriate unit, system, integrated and user acceptance testing
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Min 3 years in a J2EE development role including experience in Unix, Javascript, JSP, JDBC, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, Oracle/SQL Server, XML / XSL / XSLT and Web Services.
- Requires experience with latest java technologies/frameworks especially Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Axis, JNDI, JSF, etc.
- Experience using Eclipse, Ant, CVS / SVN.
