Web Applications Developer / Software Developer (.NET) is needed to join a rapidly expanding, innovative, technology agency.Working extensively within the education sector you will help develop our client’s next generation e-payment framework which is sold into some of the country’s leading higher education institutions such as the Universities of Oxford, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leicester.
Based out of our clients head office near Brighton you will be a pivotal member of the team developing web applications in VB.NET, ASP.NET, C# and SQL.Your primary function will be the development of their next generation framework and the porting of existing applications and functionality. Your role will naturally progress into ongoing maintenance and development of further modules. Your key duties will be based around the following:
- Writing web applications designed for performance and scalability (.NET)
- Designing and building application layer abstractions (e.g. database APIs)
- Interfacing with third party applications and services (e.g. payment service providers, finance systems, web services)
- Conducting user testing to optimise application ease of use
In return your CV will need to demonstrate strong programming skills, particularly in C# or VB.NET and ASP.NET from any web development background.
