Shift NOC/Data Centre Analyst

Windows and Unix or HPUX or Linux support. My client is looking for a NOC/data centre administrator to join their team.This role will involve working on a shift basis either 7am-7pm or 7pm - 7am. You will work 2 day shifts, 2 nights shifts and 4 days off. Candidates will be required to have both Unix and Windows experience. This role will be at least 50% customer facing either on the phone or face-to-face. The role will require the following experience:- Supporting Microsoft 2000/2003 servers Experience supporting Unix operating systems Building servers Installation of servers Supporting live production environments Patching and Cabling - including Ethernet, CAT5, CAT6, Inter-cabinet patching, patch panels and install switches, routers, hubs e.t.c... Back-up procedures using Veritas and Tivoli Faulting finding and fixing Hardware and Software Configuration and Investigation 2nd line technical skills Firewalls Preferred RS Limited is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
