The Company
This specialist in IT outsourcing has been in existence for over 20 years and has five offices throughout the UK with one of the key offices in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
They have more than 400 customers including a number of blue chips many of whom have been with them for over ten years. They employ 200 people and are constantly expanding both organically and by strategic acquisition. Owned by a Fortune 500 company they have the backing of a major player with ambitious plans for Europe.
The Person
You will be currently working in a Senior IT project management role with a good knowledge of and a qualification within Prince 2. You will have managed a variety of IT projects within your career mainly focusing on Infrastructure implementations / upgrades and support solutions. You will also have taken responsibility for other project managers while managing an overall programme within your career.
You will act as the primary contact for customers both internal and external for a key IT programme based with a major client based in Woking will you will spend a great deal of time in the first few months.
You will track and report progress to the programme management team and the customer on a regular basis and will produce documentation to support and control the projects. You will have managed projects budgets previously as you will take full responsibility for the project budgets and resources.
