Graduate IT Consultant/Project Manager with 12 months+ commercial IT experience, a minimum 2:2 IT-related degree & a desire to work in a customer facing role offering future Prince2 training required by well established software house. Working across the full software lifecycle (covering analysis, design, development, implementation & support), you will grow into a hands-on Consultant/Project Manager with responsibility for delivering solutions based on Java/J2EE & Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL, Application Server, Internet Directory) technologies to high profile external clients.
Importantly you will bring strong communication, requirements gathering & problem solving skills to the role with an ability to deal with constantly changing customer requirements. Training will be provided on all aspects of my client's products & services so specific knowledge of Java/J2EE & Oracle is not essential (although a broad understanding of technology gained from an IT degree is) with future support for Prince2 accreditation also on offer for the successful candidate. Training will also be hands-on in the form of shadowing Senior Consultants on client visits.
Applicants must be willing to undertake travel to client sites for brief durations (typically up to two days/nights per week but this is not every week & travel/accommodation will be paid; for any longer engagements you would also be eligible for an inconvenience allowance) but in return can look forward to building a career with a dynamic organisation offering a very competitive basic salary & benefits package (incorporating a bonus of up to 10%, private medical insurance & an annual training budget) together with first class opportunities for personal development & progression. |
