IT Graduate required. My Client a market leading blue chip financial company is looking to recruit several IT Graduates. Within the first 12 months you will spend your time in a number of departments and teams across the business including systems support, systems implementation, the web team and the project team. This will provide candidates with knowledge of how different departments work and interact with the IT functionality. A significant part of this time will be spent in a development role, providing support for an internally developed software system. As the IT Graduate you will then be guided towards various system analyst positions, developing current processes and identifying future business needs. You will have knowledge of a programming environment and have competent skills within a MS Windows/Office environment. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening skills to capture and document requirements needed to implement solutions to meet the clients' business needs. My client prides itself in the training and support it offers to its employees to develop their careers. This is achieved through sponsorship of BCS (British Computer Society) membership, studying towards membership of the PMI (Pensions Management Institute), as well as other necessary training courses designed to enhance specific technical skills. Financial support will be given towards the cost of external training including registration, purchase of tuition materials and examination entry fees. A mentor system for support on PMI training is also in place. In addition to any relevant external training candidates will also receive structured basic pensions and operational training, delivered by internal training staff.
