Business Solution Consultant / Graduate / Consultant
Culex is an Independent IT Solutions Provider based in Chester. We specialise in the implementation, development and support of Enterprise Applications for business. We are an accredited partner with both SAP and Exact Software, and base our solutions around these core products.
We require a graduate to join us as a Business Systems Consultant. You will be required to work on long term projects from initial implementations, to ongoing development and support of the business systems of our clients. Responsibilities will include implementations, consultancy, project management, software development, creating and updating technical documentation, and communicating and working with external partners and customers.
We are looking for someone with a strong technical ability, matched with a solid understanding of financial processes and associated business processes. Applicants are required to have knowledge in MS SQL Server 2000 / 2005, MS Office (Excel, Access etc) and Visual Basic. Experience of ASP, ASP.net, PHP and Network administration are desirable. Any experience with SAP Business One, Exact Software (Globe 2003, Globe Enterprise, e-Synergy), or any Enterprise Application (Pegasus, Axapta, Navision, Great Plains) is a considerable advantage, as is experience with any web based business solutions.
You will be initially either office based in Chester, or shadowing a senior consultant on a client’s site. Once fully trained you will be performing onsite consultancy alone, as well as managing your own workload.
Full training will be provided, both on the job, and via a structured training program.
Candidates must be able to show experience of working under pressure, meeting strict deadlines and delivering work on time to a high standard. This role would suit someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, mature, intelligent, self motivated, able to work unattended, stable, able to travel, willing to get involved and willing put forward ideas.
Full driving license essential.
