Manchester City Council has recently implemented a wide range of business solutions based on SAP technology including CRM, Finance, Procurement and Payroll / Personnel applications.
You will provide the technical skills and knowledge necessary to maintain and enhance the Council’s SAP business solutions in all functional areas (CRM, Finance, etc.).
Working within a small team of developers you will already have appropriate SAP technical skills (with an emphasis on ABAP programming skills) and solid experience of ICT technical environments in order to resolve operational issues, develop technical solutions to meet business requirements, and to provide day-to-day support to SAP environments.
The role requires that you will be an effective team player with excellent knowledge of ICT application development, implementation and support. With an ability to communicate effectively in both business and technical terms you will also be competent in change and problem management, formal test procedures, and in producing documentation to a high standard.
It is essential that candidates are able to demonstrate practical knowledge of SAP environments / modules in use within a customer centric environment.
