We have vacancies for talented C# / VB.NET / ASP.NET developers to join us as part of a large expansion of our development group. You’ll be working across the full development lifecycle, putting your outstanding C# / ASP.NET / VB.NET skills to work on ground-breaking and technically complex solutions. Key responsibilities: - Taking ownership of the full solution, working through the full development lifecycle from requirements and design through to successful implementation.
- Hands-on development on varied and stimulating projects, typically using C#, ASP.NET and MS SQL Server 2005 on the Microsoft .NET 3.0 platform, but with opportunities to work with other technologies such as Microsoft PerformancePoint and Microsoft SharePoint, as well as 3rd party products.
- Taking responsibility for high-level design, and subsequently planning and project managing the development process.This role offers a great combination of hands on design and development, with the opportunity to build and develop mentoring skills, and ultimately progressing to managing teams of developers through the full development lifecycle.
- Working proactively to improve development processes and maintaining best practice, to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of technology.
The individual: - Of graduate calibre, with a strong background in full-lifecycle software development, from systems analysis and design through to development, testing and implementation. Any experience of formal methodologies would be advantageous.
- Experience of developing on the .NET platform using C# / VB.NET / ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server. RM is able to support candidates with a background in VB.NET who wish to cross-train into C#.
- Formal Microsoft qualifications such as MCPs, MCAD, MCSD, MCTS or MCPD would be advantageous, however RM is happy to support to candidates wishing to gain these certifications.
- Experience of developing across the full project life cycle, ideally within a structured project management framework.
- Strong problem solving and team working skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
