As part of a new programme you will play a lead role in the introduction of new systems and processes which will transform the management of the student journey.
As part of new programme, you will take a lead role in understanding, documenting and redesigning the business processes and IT systems used to manage the full student lifecycle. This is a role for someone who knows how to influence key stakeholders and act as a catalyst for change. You will work within the programme and project teams leading on the analysis and design activities. You will be responsible for carrying out detailed process mapping, eliciting requirements from stakeholders, making a significant contribution to the procurement process, as well as, all activities to transition the new services into business as usual.
Working closely with the Project and Programme Manager you will form a vital part of supporting and embedding the required behavioural and cultural changes of this large scale change within the organisation. You will also use your business analysis skills and expertise to manage and mentor other business analysts through the project lifecycle.
With a demonstrable record of working with a range of stakeholders; you can demonstrate successful experience of influencing changes in current practices and challenging behaviours that result in acceptance of change. You must also have significant experience of workshop facilitation, mapping business processes, requirements elicitation, testing IT systems, and supporting the transition to new ways of working. Higher Education experience or experience implementing student systems is desirable but not essential.
It is essential that you are able to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively, and can present compelling arguments to influence and negotiate satisfactory outcomes. The ability to manage and work with virtual teams within a matrix managed programmes and projects environment will be the key to your success. As will be the ability to analyse problems and to identify their cause, considering all possible options.
