Planon is the integrated workplace management system used to manage the university’s estates data, including space and assets, support maintenance and facilities management services. This is a key role managing the Planon system whilst simultaneously providing support and delivering training to all users across the university. Duties will also include investigating, testing and documenting new functionality in the system whilst leading the implementation of ongoing developments and operational process improvements, with support from the Estate and Facilities Management Systems Manager.
To succeed you will have demonstrable knowledge and commitment to relevant service standards and be able to set and meet your own objectives. A degree in an IT related subject or equivalent experience in project managing software implementation or system administration is essential, as is experience of application support and advanced use of computer software applications. Experience of Planon or other maintenance or facilities management software is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Job sharers welcome.
