Lead Java Developer / Java Team Leader. A Reading based financial firm require a Java Team Leader to lead the java development team working on web based and some client software products. Reporting into the Group Development Manager you’ll mentor the development team, ensure they produce quality software on time and in budget. You’ll be responsible for running projects, understanding internal and external requirements through the full product lifecycle.

The Lead Java Developer / Java Team Leader will have previous team leading experience. The Lead Java Developer / Java Team Leader will need extensive Java software development experience. The Lead Java Developer / Java Team Leader will have Java 5 or 6, Javascript, AJAX, DHTML, Websphere Application Server, ideally 6. Ideally the Java Team Leader / Java Developer will have Message Broker / MQ Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Eclipse My Eclipse IDE, ASP.NET. You’ll need experience of working with databases, preferably IBM Informix, knowledge of Agile methodologies and what to do with them, project management and man management experience.
