My client, developer of leading technology in an exciting industry is looking for a senior developer to contribute towards their continued success and growth that they are already seeing in 2009!
The senior developer will be a fully rounded software professional with multi-disciplinary skills, strong self motivation, intellectual strength, curiosity and a strong focus on user needs.
The senior developer will bridge the gap between the high level product roadmap and the detailed software implementation and will be judged on how well the resultant software meets end users aspirations as well as the efficiency of the technical implementation. You will
also be expected to use your experience to contribute across the rest of the software development life cycle including mentoring other developers, the actual coding of high quality application software and assisting in testing activities as required.
Technically you will need to have strong skills in, web-related technologies, Ajax, Javascript, HTML, DHTML, Web services; XML, XLST and XHTML,J2EE, application server technologies, J2EE EJB3 technology, JSP servlets, Java (language)Knowledge and exposure to Spring, Hibernate OR Mapping, database technologies, SQL query construction and optimisation, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and experience of designing and building scalable enterprise systems.
