French speaking Service Desk Analyst / 1st Line Support - Windows, Call logging - Investment Banking - Contract - Up to £200 p/d - Central London

A superb opportunity has arisen to join a successful Investment Banking organisation in the role of bilingual English and French Service Desk Analyst / 1st Line Support.

As the successful individual you will be responsible for providing front-line advice, support and service to all end-users; maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through active organisation of team efforts.

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of logging every contact, capturing information, and how service desk KPI targets and team work. You must have excellent customer service skills and understand the importance of being available on the phones at all times.

French language skills are essential.

Key Skills and Previous Experience:

  • Strong experience with the Microsoft Windows platform including Windows XP and Windows 7
  • Call logging
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • MS Office 2002 & 2010 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Lotus Notes exposure would be ideal
  • Active Directory
  • Ability to trouble shoot remote connectivity
  • Bilingual - French and English (essential)
  • Market Data knowledge is beneficial
  • Previous banking experience is highly desirable - however, if you are from a comparative background (i.e. legal, insurance or financial services) please do apply.
