Applications Support Analyst - UNIX / Linux / SQL / Apache
Application Support Analyst required to work for a leading international organisation based in central Leeds. The successful Application Support Analyst will come from a strong applications support background, supporting information systems and web technologies, specifically UNIX, Apache, SQL and Microsoft applications. The Support Analyst will have experience of working in ITIL aligned environments, ideally holding ITIL Foundation Certification, and will possess strong supplier management skills to co-ordinate the support activities of internal and external support providers. Excellent communication and influencing skills are also required, along with the ability to adapt your communication style as appropriate.
The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for the provision of 1st and 2nd line application support to all internal and external IT users, managing issues from receipt through to resolution within defined service and operational levels. You will work closely with the Problem and Incident teams to resolve and prevent reoccurrence of such issues.
Please note this role will require occasional national and international travel.
