IT SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE ANALYST/ADMINISTRATOR – SOME TECHNICAL AND SOME POLICY AND PROCEDURE EXPERIENCE – BEST ROLE ON THIS WEBSITE!
I'm a security specialist recruiter looking to make contact with some very motivated and able security administrators and technical consultants for a challenging and growing role with a great organisation. You'll need to be a very organised and communicative individual, with some great project organisational skill, and perhaps an MSc in Infosecurity. Other certs will be well considered (CISSP,CISA etc etc)
The right candidate will also have some experience in a technical security background (first line support/change request of Message Labs, Firewalls, IDS, AntiVirus Systems and maybe knowledge of HDD encryption etc) and more importantly and understanding of policy and compliance in security, and how they relate to everyday operations and IT operations. These will include 27001, PCI and BS7799 to name a few.
The right candidate will be able to turn this into a great role, and grow it into something really interesting. But make no mistake, this ISN'T the kind of role that you can just fall into and expect to be told what to do. This needs intuition, motivation and the drive to make yourself indispensable to the organisation, as this job will eventually become something along the lines of operational security manager.
