ADP DSI is the market leading supplier of technology systems to the retail automotive industry. Our advanced, highly capable, integrated software is working in more than 50 countries to manage the car dealerships handling the biggest and best-known brands in the automotive industry.

The Release Engineer / Web Developer will join the Release Engineering scrum team to design, build and maintain automated processes that assist in the development, testing and deployment of new software.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

·Implementation self-service tools which empower users

·Implementation of efficiency gains

·Management and Improvement of Continuous Integration infrastructure

·Involved in monthly releases of core software products

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

·Exposure to modern object oriented programming and web technologies e.g. C#/.NET, Java, JavaScript, HTML.

·Exposure of a modern RDMS database (preferably Oracle) i.e. SQL programming and database administration.

·Exposure to a Continuous build/integration tool e.g. CruiseControl and Hudson/Jenkins.

·Exposure to Unix or Linux – ideally Centos.

·Exposure to a Source Code Management System – ideally CVS.

·Exposure to scripting languages e.g. Python, Perl or shell scripting (bash, sh)

·Conceptual understanding of virtualisation and cloud technologies e.g. VMware.

Qualifications required

·Graduate in Computer Science or similar
