will have a demonstrable track record of developing and leading high quality,
innovative applications and products in a fast-paced, agile and team-oriented
environment. Experience with mobile applications development will be of value.
Essential:
- Rich Internet Application
(RIA) development including HTML 5 (required) and XHTML (ideally 5
years experience).
- CSS 2/3(ideally 3 years experience).
- AJAX.
- Websockets.
- Javascript and JS libraries eg JQuery.
- Developing for multiple
browsers and devices.
- Automated testing.
- Software development tasks
include; coding, testing, debugging, documenting, peer-reviewing,
deploying, monitoring, and support.
Desirable Skills:
- Use of source control.
- Familiarity with agile
development methodologies.
- Knowledge and use of
continuous integration.
- Experience of software
integration with Third Parties.
- Knowledge of common web
frameworks such as Rails, Mono, Spring, Tapestry.
- Experience with Gigaspaces.
- Large-scale system software
development experience.
