Job Title: Junior Web Tester: Innovative Social Media Monitoring Tools

Global leader in providing innovative tools for monitoring and analysing Social Media - products that are used by brands and agencies around the world to monitor, capture and analyse social media as well as other great, innovative products - has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Web Tester to join their dynamic, expanding and highly renowned team of some of the brightest developers available today.
This innovative company has also built their own web crawler, text analysis engine and web-based user interface and as part of their rapid expansion, they are now looking for a Junior Web Tester to play an active role throughout the whole development process.
Main duties:
1. Work with the developers to understand new requirements and functionality
2. Create and execute manual test plans, using a combination of web browsers
3. Report issues and help developers to resolve them
4. Ensure Release deadlines are met
5. Maintain the regression suite of test scripts
You will need:
1. A good (1:1 or 2:1) university degree
2. Good understanding of QA processes and the wider development life-cycle
3. 1 to 3 years commercial web-based manual testing
4. Familiarity with a range of web browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
5. Familiarity with a range of operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOSX)
6. Great communications skills and attention to details
Experience of the following would be a bonus:
1. Usage of Test Management Tools (HP Quality Centre or similar)
2. Automated test applications (QTP, Selenium,Watir etc)
3. ISEB\ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate
