Technical Team Leader / Development Manager - ASP.Net, C#, BI, Sharepoint, SQL Server - Derby
Working as the sole recruiter on behalf of a well established, stable and successful company based in Derby, I am looking for a senior technical lead with strong C# (ASP.Net) knowledge to join them in a brand new role!
The company has created a new position within it's development team for someone to lead a team of 4-5 ASP.Net / C# / Sharepoint developers and act as the driving force of all Microsoft based development in the firm. You will be the architect, lead software developer and team manager, all in one super-charged role! Your role will have both technical and management elements, and this role really suits someone who excels at both.
You will be expected to be the one who recommends new technologies to the business, proposes state of the art solutions and then delivers these along with the team you will manage.
You will be delivering a range of systems from Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Sharepoint or supply chain systems, so you will ideally have had some experience in one of these areas in the past, or at least some tangible experience of developing 'real-world', data driven business applications (as opposed to fancy websites etc.)
You must be quite business savvy and have a good level of credibility in front of other senior managers. Equally though, you really need to know your stuff technically, especially with ASP.Net / C# development and Sharepoint, as you will need to mentor and coach the other .Net developers to ensure they are being continually challenged and are giving full value to the projects they are involved in.
They are ready to interview immediately and are really keen to get someone with some real passion and drive. It would suit someone who is still very technical but also wants to expand their management experience in a more senior role. It would also suit someone currently working in a similarly technical management or leadership role.
They are willing to offer between £42k - £48k + benefits to the successful applicant.
