We are a market leader in the provision of Remote Control and Monitoring systems looking for an experienced Web Developer with strong PHP skills to join our expanding team.
Working in a closely knit team as a Web Developer you will develop the web based user interface utilising PHP and Apache through which our clients configure, analyse and interpret measured data.
As an experienced Web Developer your skills will include:
You are likely to have all, or at least many, of the following skills and experience of:
* Web based application development
* Writing PHP
* Experience of interfacing to databases and writing SQL queries
* Linux (Centos) operating system
* Apache/ PHP web server
* The user interface (UI) connects to a Firebird database (not essential) and runs standard SQL queries.
* Ideally an ETL tool such as Jitterbit
The ideal Web Developer candidate will:
* An enthusiastic team player, but be able to work independently
* Prepared to do what is required in a small start up company environment
* Be prepared to learn new skills as necessary
* Have good communications skills
* Have good organisation skills
* Be educated to degree level
