Change, Configuration and Release Analyst

Location: Yorkshire Drive, Bradford
Salary: £18,000 - £24,000 Dependant on Experience
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Closing Date:  9th February 2012

Purpose of Role:

Working within the Change, Configuration and Release Management team, YBS are looking to recruit a permanent Change, Configuration and Release Analyst. 

This role will involve applying the Society’s Change, Configuration and Release policies to manage (and deploy where appropriate) IT Changes through their lifecycle from submission to the completion and closure of the Change request, analysing Post Implementation Reviews (PIR) for all changes, reviewing results from the work carried out and identifying areas of improvement for future implementations. Risk/Conflict Management is a key aspect of the role to ensure Service Continuity.

The role also includes the updating of the Configuration Management database (CMDB) after the implementation of changes, the creation of new Configuration Items (CI`s) and relationships to reflect a true picture of the infrastructure.

  • Have the ability to handle detailed technical and non-technical data, comprehend and communicate essential information in a compelling way to non technical production staff.
