1st Line Support Engineer - Huge Career Progression - Dudley – Up to 20k base
Second jobber with 1st Line Support experience required to join a leading IT Services company, based in Dudley. You will join the IT support team in a very hands on role that will gain exposure to a wide variety of technologies and the opportunity to progress into a 2nd Line role.
As a 1st Line Support Engineer you will support a user base of 5000+ in a very hands on role where you will provide 1st Line Support and gain exposure to 2nd line.
1st Line Support Engineer you will work in a very friendly, outgoing environment, therefore it is essential you have a bubbly, outgoing personality with excellent communications skills to interact with users and fellow team members.
1st Line Support Engineer’s who wish to be considered for the position must display the following skills and expertise:
- Good knowledge of Windows XP & Windows 7
- Good understanding of Active Directory, Exchange & Windows Server 2003+
- 1st class Communication skills with an outgoing personality
- At least 1 years experience in a similar hands on IT Support role
- Knowledge of networks would be hugely beneficial – TCP/IP, LAN, WAN
