ERP Applications Manager - "Dynamics AX", "Project Manager", Developer, "Sage Sales Logix", "Development Manager", "Applications", "Applications Manager", "Systems Manager", Qlikview, "Global IS", ERP, CRM - Glasgow - £Negotiable

Our leading global client requires an ERP Applications Manager to manage a team of Global Application System Managers and developers, who are responsible for the day to day management, development and support of systems such as Dynamics AX, SalesLogix CRM and Qlikview. The role holder will ensure that business application system performance and on-going development, supports the business needs and maintain day to day control of these systems as and when required.

Key Skills:
* Previous experience within an IS application team leadership role within a corporate environment
* Significant proven experience in various types of applications development methods.
* Experience in the management of corporate level ERP and CRM systems
* Proven capability of resource and vendor management to deliver effective IS application services.
* Experience in Dynamics AX, Sage SalesLogix and Qlikview is advantageous but not essential.
* Candidates should demonstrate proven skills in process management, team building, motivation and business analysis skills.
* Knowledge of SLA creation, maintenance and delivery of application services to meet SLAs is essential
* Excellent customer service skills and flexibility to create and maintain a positive working relationship across all internal departments.


Main Duties:
* Eestablishing, implementing and auditing group-wide IS application standards and procedures
* Provide guidance and advice to the CIO, Global IS Team, business community and project teams on application development, management and support matters.
* Identify, research and promote new technologies, where potential add value opportunities exist and work closely with existing vendors and VAR's managing SLA's and developing business/IS relationships including new initiatives and software contract negotiations.

You must have a willingness to travel; this role will mean extensive travel and also may require you to stay abroad for several weeks. However, when in the UK you will be able to spend some time working from home.
