2nd Line Technical/ Desktop Support
2nd Line support Engineer urgently required with experience of supporting a large IT environment.
My client is a leading public sector organization based in Nottinghamshire, and is looking to recruit a highly capable 2nd Line Technical/ Desktop Support Engineer. The role will be initially for 2 months and may extend. The rate being offered is competitive.
The Role
You will provide 2nd line Desktop Support, covering a number of sites around Nottinghamshire, remotely and also through desk-side support.
You will cover: Microsoft Packages, Windows NT, XP, Citrix and Active Directory, LAN/WAN.
Essential:
*Proven experience in the resolution of 2nd Line Software problems in addition to
*Hardware fault finding / break fix / and HW re-build experience.
*This is a customer facing position and therefore you must possess excellent communication skills.
*Driving license & vehicle
Desirable
*MCSE/ Microsoft qualifications
Interviews will take place on Tuesday 31st January - you must be able to attend. You must be able to start on 1st February.
