Change, Configuration and Release Analyst - ITIL, Service Management

Purpose of Role:

Working within the Change, Configuration and Release Management team, this role will involve applying the Society’s Change, Configuration and Release policies to manage (and deploy where appropriate) IT Changes through their lifecycle from submission to the completion and closure of the Change request, analysing Post Implementation Reviews (PIR) for all changes, reviewing results from the work carried out and identifying areas of improvement for future implementations.

Key Skills:

  • Broad understanding of Service Management principles and disciplines, based on ITIL best practice.
  • Ability to use a wide range of communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate at all levels.
  • Sound MS Office skills.
  • Possess good problem solving and resolution skills
  • High degree of analytical skills
  • Possess excellent customer care skills
  • The ability to handle detailed technical and non-technical data, comprehend and communicate essential information in a compelling way to non technical production staff.
