My Client is looking for Network Security Specialist based in either Warrington or Crewe. Looking for someone who comes from a good background in Security Products. To join a busy and growing team looking for an experienced member to join the team to help grow the technical expertise of the team.
The Role
Build Strategy (document build procedures such as migration steps)
Test Plans & Descriptions (document proposed testing of Security Products)
Testing of Security Products and Proof of Concept/implementation work
Collection and analysis of Customer data
Possess good MS Office Skills particularly MS Excel and MS Project
Skills Needed
Demonstrable working knowledge and understanding of 2 of the various Security products such as Symantec EndPoint Security, IDS/IPS, WebFiltering, RSA Envision, McAfee and Juniper IDS and Foundstone, Bluecoats, Mimesweeper, Cisco Ironport, Websense. E-mail security technologies
Protective monitoring technologies such as Envision or Logrythm.
Experience of deployment and management of remote data centre based systems and a good understanding of network infrastructure.
Knowledge and experience in installation and configuration of various Security products.
Abilityto mentor junior members of the team with various technologies.
Desirable Skills
Experience in Windows server or desktop or Active Directory
Knowledge of Service Management process and toolsets for Incident, Problem and
Change Management
Ability to mentor junior members of the team with various technologies.
Experience in a technical lead role of customer deployments
Working in a Project Team meeting tight deadlines
Possess a Security mindset
