My growing consultancy client is eager to add a experienced Technical Product Consultant to their consultancy practice asap. This is a busy and interesting role at the forefront of the business. The successful SQL/Technical Product consultant will be out-going, confident and articulate with good experience giving presentations, conducting client workshops and providing consultancy experience. You will be an excellent communicator.
The key element to this role is you will combine commercial understanding of a client needs with technical understanding of how to extract relevant data/info/reports. You will need strong awareness with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP or similar.
The successful Technical Product Consultant will demonstrate strong SQL skills, particularly SQL queries and transactions. This is a travelling role where you will provide consultancy skills for my client.

The Product Consultant implements and configures the client's software, within the boundaries of the project plan, according to specified requirements and following the Organisation's way of work and best practices, in order to achieve a smooth working application which satisfies customer requirements.
Key responsibilities
*Assists the Business consultant or Lead consultant during customer workshops to define the details product requirements.
*Configures and customizes the Organisation's software in an effective manner, within the boundaries of the project plan and the agreed functional requirements and conform the Organisation's way of work and best practices, to ensure smooth application and fully implemented functional requirements.
*Prepares and gives product related training to end-users and administrators, conform the Organisation's way of work and best practices, in order to achieve well trained users who are able to use the product.
*Pro-actively gets and keeps knowledge and skills up-to-date, within the boundaries of the Organisation's competence model and the assigned budget in time and money, in order to be able to perform an excellent job.
*Gives presentations, writes contents and leads sessions, within the boundaries of personal targets and Organisation's budgets, in order to share knowledge and experiences with colleagues in own department and other departments.
*Delivers functional, technical or project information to sales, according to the Organisation's way of work and best practices, that can be used as input for commercial proposals or as information documents.
Requirements
*Education level: Bachelor/Master.
*Must have experience or strong interest in: software implementation, process management, internal control and risk management.
*Has knowledge and understanding of:
*the GRC domain,
*application functionality,
*technical IT subjects and products,
*business concepts and processes,
*implementation concepts and change management.
