Providing all the creative solutions you need under one roof, our client is a full-service creative agency. They deliver websites, publications, advertising campaigns, branding and a whole lot more. An opportunity has now arisen for a PHP Developer to join their team.
Based in Essex, our client boasts a contemporary, custom-built studio. This exciting role will give you the opportunity to add to your great skill-set, learn new talents and understand the latest web development technologies.
As a PHP Developer, you will predominantly be responsible for developing websites with complex data driven systems.
Using your creative problem solving skills, you will mostly be involved in 'backroom' work. There will also be times when you will liaise directly with clients, in person, over the phone and by email.
In addition, you will be responsible for back-end and front-end development, therefore excellent MVC and Object-Oriented PHP and good JavaScript skills are key.
Your duties will include:
- Writing project technical specifications
- Developing secure eCommerce systems
- Unit-testing your code
- Developing databases
To be considered for this position, you must have experience of the following:
- MVC and Object Oriented PHP
- JavaScript
- MySQL
As a PHP Developer, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Plenty of initiative and a keen attention to detail are also key.
