Hays IT are currently working with a leading Software House who require a Java Developer to come and join their highly-technical team based in Bangor, North Wales. My client produces bespoke software that offers solutions to leading financial companies in the UK. New projects with large clients that will last over 5 years so a lot of new development work in the pipe-line.
Your mains technical skills will be:
Java or J2EE
Spring / Struts, Hibernate (Desirable)
Oracle / SQL
Working in Full Development life-cycle
It will also be desirable if you have good communications and presentation skills, who can communicate with the company's stakeholders and have the ability to work on your own , although training will be give all the way through. As a developer the individual will be allocated to projects based on their specific skills and experience.
