At MI6, our work is vital. We gather intelligence from around the world to help protect the UK against a range of threats, from terrorism to regional instability. Behind this work you will find our support teams. It’s thanks to their high standards and professionalism that we can concentrate on the security and prosperity of the UK.

We are currently looking to add to our support teams in the following areas: Network Engineers, Knowledge Information Specialists, Facilities and Transportation.

All these roles are based in central London and some may occasionally require paid overtime.

Whatever area interests you, certain qualities will be essential: dedication, integrity and the determination to do the best job you can. After all, the country is counting on us, so our team must be committed to achieving the highest standards. Please note that Transport Supervisors and Facilities Assistants both require a full clean driving licence.

Before you apply

MI6 offers an excellent working environment, with great benefits including 25 days’ holiday and a good pension. However, applying to join us is a complex process that may take up to six months. We need to carry out in-depth background and security checks before we recruit anyone – an extremely important task which can take some time. It’s also essential that you feel strongly about helping to protect your country and are committed to being discreet about your work. Remember, you must be a British national aged 21 or over, and you will be required to undergo advanced security checks, including medical and drugs tests.
